16th Cavalry Regiment

The 16th Cavalry Regiment is a training regiment responsible for the Professional Education of Armor, Cavalry and Maneuver Officers and NCOs. Located at Fort Knox, Kentucky and comprised of over 1100 Officers, NCOs, Soldiers and Civilian Employees the Regiment trains over 1600 students per year in 7 different Armor Courses. The Regiment also supports the NCO Academy on Post and conducts Mounted Maneuver Training for USMA and ROTC Cadets at Fort Knox each summer.
